I'm trying to create a numbered list, only with letters.  I first type in some text, then hit the numbered list button.  It changes my text to a numbered list format.  Then, I right click on the list and select "Numbered List Properteis".  I set the type to "Locercase Letters (a, b, c)".  My numbered list changes to a lettered list.  However, it only seems to use letters when in edit mode.  When reading the requirement or creating a report doc, the list appears as numbers.  Is there something I'm doing wrong?
